Commenced in real estate with Westbay in 1980, attaining my AREINZ in 1984 and have been Principal Officer of Westbay since. I am passionate about real estate and with my many years in real estate, I have a huge depth of knowledge of the real estate market in Tauranga. Being a landlord personally, I am able to assist with many aspects of the rental scene. In my younger years I completed my Queens Scout Award, Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award and have attended Outward Bound. Enjoy a casual game of either tennis or golf. A past member of Tauranga Rotary Club and was on the Board of the Tauranga YMCA. Currently Chairman of the Waikareao Estuary Care Group. A keen runner since 1991, I have completed many marathons including a marathon on 7 continents.

I began my real estate career in 1990 with Westbay Real Estate Ltd after a comprehensive building construction background of 22 years.
The transition has been great and I especially enjoy giving my clients and customers sound and practical advice as to their housing requirements. Value enhancing tips prior to selling can often add 5-10% to the end result.
I participate in and enjoy a wide range of community and sporting activities which includes Lions, tennis, local church, motorcycling and mangrove harvesting. I have applied a very successful charity promotion from my house sales which has assisted numerous needy, non profit organisations in and around the district.
With the new Real Estate Act 2008, we are seeing a more professional approach to buying and selling property and ongoing education standards. This is good for all concerned.
I look forward to assisting my past and future clients with professional and up to day advice and bringing about happy and successful outcomes.

Commenced real estate in 1999 with Westbay and have remained with the company successfully selling since that time. I particularly enjoy the freedom of being a non-franchised environment and the high standard of ethics and integrity which are the hallmark of the company. I enjoy the lifestyle that selling real estate offers and have no doubt I will be active in the industry for many years to come. Understanding human nature and the needs and requirements of people is a large part of the business and with a background of 25 years in the NZ police, principally as a detective, followed by a period of motelling, I am well equipped to deal with the many and varied situations that arise in dealing with the largest asset most people own. In June 2008 I completed my diploma in real estate and was admitted as an Associate of the Real Estate Institute (AREINZ). I graduated as the top student in New Zealand gaining an indepth knowledge of real estate law and practices. This knowledge is an invaluable asset to my clients both present and past.

My involvement with the Real Estate industry spans some 30 years and includes everything from company owner/director, salesperson/manager and President of the Real Estate Insitutue (Tauranga) for six years. In 1998 I was honoured as a Fellow of the Real Estate Institute of New Zealand. I look forward to continuing my association with past clients and colleagues, as well as meeting and helping new clients and friends. I have joined the team at Westbay because their commitment to excellent and professional service parallels that of my own. Tauranga is my home town and I was educated at Otumoetai Primary and Otumoetai College. I have a wonderful partner, Olivia, and we both enjoy the outdoors and playing golf together when we can. I have three adult children, Lauren, Bronwyn and Craig and a grandson Bayden, born to Craig and Courtney in February 2009.

A former Sales Manager with an electro-mechanical engineering background. Relocated to Tauranga in 2005 and now enjoying working in real estate sales. I have enjoyed a very good track record with more than 30 years in sales as a sales manager, senior national account manager and marketing executive. As a manager I have worked to BSI/ISO total quality management principles. I was appointed to manage part of the prestigious UK Government Sector (official secrets act and enhanced police checks applied).
All of my sales positions involved analysing the needs of my clients and finding the best solution for them. Negotiating prices and delivery within scheduled timescales.
Notwithstanding the above professional experiences I have bought and sold a number of houses and designed my current home.
My hobbies include working as a lion with the local Welcome Bay Lions Club helping with community projects. I am also a martial artist and I have been a martial arts coach for more than 40 years. The team I trained in the UK were British champions for 13 consecutive years. As a coach it has been a privilege and extremely rewarding seeing children I have worked with develop skill sets that have given them greater confidence and helped them in everyday life. I consider myself to be an honest conscientious hard worker that gets great pleasure out of seeing a project come to a satisfactory conclusion.

I have been involved in the real estate profession for over 40 years, after a period in the oil industry.
Selling property has much variety, however in each case, it incorporates the building of client relationships, the need for high ethics, standards and accountability.
After being in my own realty business for many years, I enjoy Westbay where teamwork coupled with modern technology is much appreciated.
I am an executive member of the Auctioneers Association of NZ, and a nominated person with the police under the Children & Young Persons Act.

I joined Westbay in March 2006 and enjoyed a diverse range of occupations which include catering, horticulture, hospitality and administration. Having lived in Tauranga for 24 years watching the continual growth of Tauranga, I find the property market fascinating to work in and have great pleasure working for such an experienced team.
