About Us

Westbay Real Estate Limited is a locally owned real estate agency operating in Tauranga. The company commenced business in May, 1980 originally with a team of 3 rural agents. The founding principal, Jim Steele, operated his company from his home in Te Koah Place, Tauranga for the first four years. 1984 saw the company move to its present site at 273 Cameron Road, between 1st and 2nd Avenues.

Jim's nephew Ross, joined the company in September 1980 and took over the reins as office manager at the new Cameron Road office and proceeded shortly afterwards to become the Principal Officer, a position he still holds today.

Westbay Real Estate Limited has been built on a reputation of integrity, honestly, professionalism, ethics and  prides itself as being an independent  office in the real estate market in Tauranga, now specialising in residential real estate.
